Mahoney appreciated by Civil Air Patrol
Aiken Park Manager Robert Mahoney received a Certificate of Appreciation from Aiken Civil Air Patrol. Aiken Composite Squadron held a field training exercise at the Aiken State Park, where the cadets learned about search and rescue procedures. While they were there at the park, Mahoney gave the cadets a presentation on snakes, park safety and insects. The presentation was informative and the cadets were able to learn more about the environment in which they were camping. Mahoney has been with the park service for 12 years and has served at various parks in the state.![]()
