MONCKS CORNER — A man has been killed and a woman has been wounded in a double shooting in Moncks Corner.
Another man has been charged in the case.
Police responded Thursday night after receiving reports of several gunshots at a home.
Police say the dead man was found on the porch of the home. The woman was taken to the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston. Authorities said her injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
The names of the victims have not been released until relatives can be notified.
Police have charged 60-year-old Johnny Irby with murder and attempted murder.![]()
