According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 61-year-old Aiken woman reported her purse stolen from a store on York Street on Monday.
A 66-year-old Graniteville man reported his wallet stolen from a store on Richland Avenue on Monday after he left it there, then returned to find it gone.
A 20-year-old Aiken man on Tuesday reported his cellphone stolen from Smith-Hazel Recreation Center.
An employee of a Whiskey Road restaurant reported a book containing $60 in tips missing from the restaurant. The employee said she suspected a co-worker of the theft.
A vehicle break-in was reported Tuesday on Claflin Drive. The owner reported a purse missing.
Two additional vehicle break-ins were reported Wednesday on Evans Road.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:
A 31-year-old Langley man was charged with criminal domestic violence Wednesday after he bit his girlfriend during an altercation.
A 57-year-old Gloverville man was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday after he was found sleeping in the roadway of Carline Road in Gloverville. The man smelled of alcohol and said he had consumed 24 beers.
A North Augusta woman reported identity theft Tuesday after someone used her information to file income taxes.
A Salley man reported fraud Tuesday after he ordered and paid for a guitar online but never received the instrument.
A burglary was reported Tuesday on Wagener Road in Aiken.
Vehicles were reported stolen Tuesday from Wagener Road in Aiken, Pine Log Road in Beech Island, Old Jackson Highway in Beech Island, Jefferson Davis Highway in Aiken and Frontage Road in Aiken.
