Two teenage girls were charged with shoplifting Wednesday after they tried to take candy from a store on York Street without paying.
A 59-year-old man was charged with shoplifting Thursday after he tried to take several items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.
A 52-year-old Aiken woman was charged with DUI Thursday after she was pulled over on Roses Run for driving recklessly. The woman smelled of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication. She was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests and provided a breath sample that yielded a .20 percent blood-alcohol content.
A 24-year-old Aiken man reported his wallet stolen Thursday after he left it at a store on Richland Avenue. He returned but the wallet was already gone.
A burglary was reported Thursday on Greenville Street. The owner reported electronics missing. An additional burglary was reported Wednesday on Bennett Avenue.
An Aiken man reported vandalism Thursday after someone broke a window in his Silver Bluff Road apartment.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Rollingwood Road in Aiken on Thursday.

A 53-year-old Warrenville man reported identity theft Thursday after he tried to file his tax return but was told someone had already filed a return using his Social Security number.
Three burglaries were reported Thursday on Britton Road in Windsor, Outing Club Road in Graniteville and Orange Street in North Augusta.
An Aiken woman reported a firearm stolen from her home on Burlington Street on Thursday.
A North Augusta woman reported vandalism Thursday after someone broke a window on her vehicle on Hunters Farm.
