According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:
A Warrenville woman, who lives on Golf Course Road, reported on Friday that a Graniteville man she had met on Facebook approached her while she was waiting for her children to get off a school bus and asked her for pain pills. She said that when she told him no, he threatened to set her house on fire while she and her children were in it. According to the woman, the subject had a gun and said that when he returned, it would have bullets in it.
A man was arrested for possession and intent to distribute a green, leafy substance that appeared to be marijuana on Sunday after suspicious activity was reported at a house on Oak Ridge Club Road in Windsor. The subject left the home driving a vehicle, and a deputy initiated a traffic stop after the vehicle swerved left of center. According to the deputy, the man smelled slightly of marijuana and acted like he was nervous. After a drug detection dog from the Wagener Police Department "gave a positive hit" on the inside and outside of the vehicle, a large plastic bag containing five smaller plastic bags that had a green, leafy substance in them was found behind the vehicle's passenger seat.
