An article in the City of Aiken's monthly newsletter, The Aiken Report, contained several errors in the times, date and events at Aiken's annual Masters Week celebration, Horses and Courses.

The newsletter should have said that beginning at 5 p.m. and running until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, downtown Aiken will be the scene of several attractions to highlight some of Aiken's visual and performing artists during the fourth annual Horses and Courses event. There will be no parade in this year's festival.

Horses and Courses is sponsored by the City of Aiken Arts Commission, City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department, the Aiken Artist Guild and the Aiken Downtown Development Association.

This year's event will feature more than 40 of Aiken's visual artists, including an art walk along the sidewalks and in The Alley. Horses and Courses will feature eight performing artists in the same area. Locally produced sculptures, paintings and jewelry will be on display for viewing and purchasing inside and outside many downtown restaurants and businesses.
