According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:



Officers will obtain a warrant for criminal domestic violence for a 29-year-old Aiken man who assaulted his girlfriend because she refused to take him to the store to buy beer.



Officers will obtain a warrant for criminal domestic violence for a 51-year-old Aiken man who struck his wife with an axe handle during an argument.



A 67-year-old Aiken man was charged with driving under the influence Thursday after being pulled over on Rutland Drive for swerving. The man exhibited signs of intoxication and was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests. He refused to provide a breath sample.



Two Aiken men were charged with disorderly conduct Saturday after fighting with each other outside an apartment on Fairfield Street.



A 21-year-old Barnwell woman and a 24-year-old Graniteville man were charged with shoplifting Friday after they tried to take items from a store on Richland Avenue without paying. The woman was also charged with simple possession of marijuana.



A 50-year-old Beech Island woman was charged with shoplifting Saturday after she tried to take $26 in items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.



A 29-year-old Aiken woman was charged with shoplifting Sunday after she tried to take $255 in items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.



A 62-year-old Aiken woman reported $4,700 in jewelry stolen from her locker in an Aiken gym on Friday.



A 34-year-old Aiken woman reported a piggy bank containing $600 missing from her home on Croft Avenue on Friday. A pair of shoes was also missing.



A 23-year-old Aiken man reported identity theft Thursday after someone used his daughter's Social Security number to file taxes.



A 53-year-old Aiken man reported identity theft Thursday after an unknown person filed for taxes for him and his wife jointly.



A 27-year-old Aiken woman reported identity theft Thursday after someone tried to open a bank account using her name.



An Aiken woman reported vandalism Thursday after she saw someone in a large group of juveniles throw a rock at her vehicle on York Street.



A moped was reported stolen from Sumter Street on Friday.

A burglary was reported at a business on York Street on Thursday.



A vehicle break-in was reported on Park Avenue on Thursday.



According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:



A 28-year-old Batesburg woman reported Sunday that a Batesburg man assaulted her during an argument over her dogs.



A 39-year-old Warrenville woman was charged with disorderly conduct Sunday after officers found her knocking on the door of a home on Augusta Road. The woman smelled of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication.



Two burglaries were reported Sunday on Peachtwig Road in Monetta and Saddle Crossing Road in Windsor.



A vehicle break-in was reported Sunday on Country Glenn Avenue in Aiken. The owner reported a backpack missing.



A vehicle was reported stolen from Beck Road in Windsor on Sunday.
