According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:



A 58-year-old Aiken man reported identity theft Wednesday after he tried to file his income taxes and was told someone already had filed a return under his name.



A 55-year-old Jackson woman reported identity theft Wednesday after someone tried to make changes to her cellphone plan.



A 41-year-old Salley man was charged with shoplifting Wednesday after he returned an item he didn't pay for to receive a gift card, which he used to buy groceries.



A 35-year-old Aiken woman allegedly shoplifted a bra from a store on Whiskey Road on Wednesday.



According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:



A 46-year-old Hephzibah, Georgia, man was charged with disorderly conduct Wednesday after officers found him sitting in a vehicle partially parked on Audubon Circle in North Augusta. The man said he had been drinking and exhibited signs of intoxication.



An Aiken man reported identity theft Wednesday after he found out someone filed an income tax return using his Social Security number.



Two burglaries were reported Wednesday on Blanchard Road in North Augusta and Riverbend Drive in Beech Island.



A North Augusta man reported a firearm stolen from his home on Bryant Avenue on Wednesday.



A vehicle was reported stolen Wednesday from Interstate 20 in Graniteville.
