A teenager was detained Monday after creating a disturbance in the Aiken High School cafeteria, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.
The incident happened about 11:20 a.m. in the school's cafeteria, according to an incident report. Officers entered the cafeteria and saw the juvenile pacing back and forth and saying he was "tired of people coming at him."
The juvenile followed an officer's request to come with him to his office and continued pacing and cursing, police said. He had gained the attention of the cafeteria and told officers "it's going to pop off when the bell rings."
The juvenile resisted briefly when being taken into custody. Officers found two pills on the suspect, for which he had a prescription, and a set of brass knuckles. The juvenile was taken to Aiken Public Safety for booking and released to his father.
