A two-vehicle collision sent five people, including three juveniles, to the hospital Thursday morning with non-life threatening injuries.
According to S.C. Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Judd Jones, the collision was called in at 6:31 a.m. on the 1400 Augusta Road after a 2008 Chevrolet pickup truck that was traveling at a high rate of speed struck the rear end of a 1993 Camaro.
The Chevrolet, operated by a 32-year-old driver, then went through several yards and struck a tree, Jones said.
The Camaro had four passengers including the 52-year-old driver and three juveniles.
