Police are looking for an Aiken woman after officers seized a box with about 5 pounds of marijuana from a vehicle.
Kazandra Moore, 25, is wanted for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession of marijuana within a half-mile of a school or park, according to Aiken Public Safety.
A traffic stop was conducted on York Street Saturday for speeding and driving left of center. After speaking with Moore, the officer requested a narcotic K-9 search of the vehicle, where a large box was found. According to Hembree, Moore said the contents of the box were nail supplies. She was released while investigators worked to obtain the proper legal paperwork to search the box.
"We advised her if the contents of the box were legal they would be returned to her," said Hembree.
Once investigators were able to search the box, they found approximately five pounds of marijuana.
Anyone with information related to the whereabouts of Moore is asked to contact Crimestoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372.) Callers will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
