Kids who are crazy about horses might enjoy an upcoming event at the Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame and Museum.
The Paint Your Own Breyer Dream Horse Workshop will be held 10 a.m. to noon June 8. It is for youngsters ages 8 to 12, and only 12 openings are available.
The cost is $20 per child and includes a Breyer My Dream Horse Customizing Kit, which has a model horse, paint, glue and mohair that can be added to make a mane and a tail.
Register and pay for the workshop at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, 1700 Whiskey Road. The deadline to sign up is June 5.
