The James L. Hammons Detachment 939 of the Marine Corps League will hold a benefit breakfast at Fatz Cafe on Pine Log Road from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday.
Tickets for the breakfast are just $7 and will be available at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the detachment's ongoing community programs, which include awards programs for Navy Junior ROTC cadets at four high schools, scholarships for JROTC cadets, the Aiken-Augusta Warrior Project and the annual Toys for Tots program, among others.
Junior ROTC cadets from South Aiken, Silver Bluff and Wagener-Salley high schools will work as wait staff for the event.
