Ming Yat Restaurant will close its doors for the final time at the end of the month.
The restaurant, at 434 Georgia Ave., has been a part of North Augusta's downtown for about 35 years.
Simon Yung, the restaurant's manager, said the building has been sold.
He didn't speculate on what other business could potentially be moving in, but said the space would be great for another restaurant or a retail establishment.
Ming Yat will close on May 31. All of the furnishing and fixtures are currently for sale.
