X-Box feud leaves North Augusta man concerned of possible cyber bullying report

A North Augusta man called police after a verbal altercation with online players over an X-Box game that left him concerned it could turn into a report of cyber bullying.

According to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office incident report, the 30-year-old man called police after he was involved in a verbal altercation with another X-Box online game player, only known to him as "XGN Prolonged." The man told officers that he is an X-Box Ambassador, and he kicked "XGN Prolonged out of his clan," causing the altercation, according to the report.

The man told officers the two had one telephone conversation, the report states, leaving him feeling threatened, but most of the conversations were exchanged through several text messages filled with name calling, but nothing the officer found threatening in nature.

The man told police that during the phone conversation with the subject, the subject told him he was 17 years of age and would have the man charged with cyber bullying, the report states.

According to the report, the man wanted a report made for documentation purposes only because he feared if he was charged with cyber bullying, it would interfere with his chances of becoming a WCW pro wrestler, which he is actively training for at this time.
