A Graniteville man was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine Tuesday, according to an Aiken Public Safety incident report.
Richard Martin Grogg, 33, was transported to the Aiken County detention center after Public Safety officers found a black, plastic bag containing six smaller individual plastic bags containing a crystal-like substance in a black pouch that Grogg told officers belonged to him, according to the report.
The pouch also contained a small, plastic bag with two white bar-shaped pills and one blue diamond-shaped pill, police said.
The Public Safety officers found a key to a room at a motel on Richland Avenue W. in the suspect's possession. After receiving a warrant to search the motel room, officers seized a digital scale, drug paraphernalia, two plastic air-soft pistols, ammunition, drain cleaner, lye, an instant ice pace and pseudoephedrine tablets, according to the report.
The items were placed in the evidence vault with a property sheet.
