The mother of a Leavelle McCampbell Middle School student is pressing charges on a Midland Valley High School student after the ninth-grader reportedly assaulted her daughter.
The high school student was mad because the middle school student told on him during the bus ride, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
After both students left the bus Tuesday, the ninth-grader reportedly grabbed the middle-schooler, threw her down and started punching her, according to the report.
The middle-schooler eventually was able to push off the high-schooler and went home to tell her mother, according to the report.
The mother told officers she wants to press charges.
