The Central Savannah River Land Trust will hold its first Run for the Hills 5K Trail Run on its Greystone Preserve.
The preserve is at 1295 W. Martintown Road, North Augusta.
Parking will be available at the TrueNorth Church office building across the street.
Volunteers will assist in guiding participants to the starting line on June 6 at 8 a.m.
The 262-acre preserve is packed with mature oak-hickory forests, tranquil creeks with granite outcroppings and endangered flowers. All proceeds benefit the preservation of additional landscapes such as this throughout the CSRA.
Early registration is through Friday, and can be done by visiting www.csrlt.org.
Prizes will be given to the top runners in each category, with age divisions including male and female: 14 and younger, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and older.
The cost of the event is $25 for early registration.
