A North Augusta woman was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon.
Deanna Strawhorn-Yount, 43, died at the scene of the crash as a result of blunt force trauma, according to McCormick County Coroner Faye Puckett.
Strawhorn-Yount was riding a 2001 Harley-Davidson along S.C. Highway 28 in McCormick County when she lost control of the motorcycle about 2:30 p.m., according to Lance Cpl. Tony Keller, of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle ran off the left side of the road, striking a guard rail, according to Keller.
Strawhorn-Yount was ejected from the motorcycle. It is unknown whether she was wearing a helmet.
