With all the chatter about the one percent sales tax increase, no one has answered my inquiry about the stores. The mall stands more than half empty. People would love to stay here to shop. The notion of leaving Aiken County to shop elsewhere begs the question: Where is our own Macy's, Sear's, Williams Sonoma, etc.? It is not about spite to shop...![]()
