The two Aiken County men arrested in Augusta during Operation Mayday's child sex ring bust are still behind bars.

Thomas Moxley, 43, and Jordan Waters, 22, along with 20 other people, were charged Monday with criminal attempt to commit child molestation.

Out of the 22 arrested, 13 were denied bond, seven did not have an attorney present and two cases were deferred.

Those who did not have an attorney will be able to present their case at the next bond hearing.

Waters' case was deferred so evidence against him could be reviewed by Judge Daniel Craig in Augusta.

Operation Mayday was "a collective effort" of undercover investigations conducted by multiple law enforcement entities that targeted online predators.

The project was centered in Richmond County, Georgia.

Those arrested ranged in age from 19 to 52 and held various jobs from a tire salesman to a deputy jailer.
