Suspects are being sought in an armed robbery that happened on Sassafras Road in Aiken on Thursday.
Aiken County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the call at 5:55 p.m. where the victim told officers an unknown black male approached him on a walking path and pointed a handgun at the victim, police said.
The victim was told to empty his pockets, according to reports.
He threw money from his pockets on the ground, and the subject picked it up, police said.
After that, another unknown black male came up behind the victim and checked his pockets for more belongings, according to reports.
The victim told deputies the two suspects ran toward a blue four-door sedan and drove away.
Witnesses told deputies the sedan traveled toward Highway 19.
