North Augusta Department of Public Safety arrested two individuals Wednesday wanted in connection to a May 9 burglary at the Belvedere-North Augusta Rescue Squad building at 139 Edgefield Road.
J-Sun Marcellus Davis, 17, of North Augusta, and a 16-year-old juvenile turned themselves in to officers after seeing their photos on local media outlets, according to reports.
Both suspects were charged with third-degree burglary. Davis was booked and transported to the Aiken County detention center and the juvenile was released to a grandparent.
On May 9, officers arrived on scene where the victim said two subjects entered the squad building by removing a board from the rear window of the building, police said.
A game camera in the rear of the building caught Davis and the juvenile entering the building on three separate occasions on May 9, 10 and 17, according to reports. Officers photographed damage done to the interior of the building, police said.
During interviews, the juvenile stated they did not take anything but were just "hanging out," police said.
