A man was arrested for simple possession of marijuana Tuesday when officers detected the odor of marijuana in his vehicle that was parked behind a Whiskey Road store.
Officers responded Tuesday to a report of several shots fired on Hamilton Drive. After an investigation, officers found no evidence of shots fired.
A man was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday at a hotel on Eastgate Drive. The man was belligerent and drunk in the parking lot of the hotel. The man told officers he was a guest at the hotel.
Loss prevention detained a suspect Tuesday who was caught putting items in her purse while at a business on Whiskey Road.
A man was placed on trespass notice Tuesday after he threw a bottle of prescription medicine at an employee of a business on University Parkway.
Officers responded Tuesday to a business on Miracle Drive that had burglary alarms activated. The owners said a box of medicine was missing.
A woman reported Tuesday her vehicle had been broken into on Council Circle. She told officers she left the door unlocked.
A woman reported Tuesday an unknown suspect attempted to break into her home on Ridge Avenue. Officers observed forced entry and damage had been done to the door's hinges.

An Aiken man reported Wednesday items missing from his vehicle parked on Old Powderhouse Road.
A Wagener man reported Tuesday his vehicle parked on New Holland Road was missing.
A North Augusta man reported Tuesday his identity was stolen after personal identification cards were stolen from his home on Chestnut Drive.
A North Augusta man reported vandalism Wednesday when the steering column to his vehicle was broken. The vehicle had been parked on East Buena Vista Avenue.
