An attempted armed robbery suspect was quickly arrested by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office Thursday morning.
The incident was reported about 11:10 a.m. at Deluxe Inn on Edgefield Highway, and the assailant was arrested shortly before 11:30 a.m. at a gas station, according to scanner traffic.
Responding deputies told dispatch that the suspect had his hand in his pocket but a weapon was not seen.
