An Aiken man was arrested Friday after police reportedly found him in possession of a Crown Royal bag containing crack cocaine.
Officers witnessed driver Shannon Stukes, 36, conduct a hand-to-hand exchange with a pedestrian on Union Street on Wednesday night, according to an Aiken Public Safety incident report.
After the exchange, officers pulled over Stukes on Richland Avenue; after Stukes reportedly showed signs of fleeing, he was detained and read his Miranda rights.
After searching the vehicle, officers reportedly found a Crown Royal bag containing crack cocaine, according to the report.
Stukes was served warrants for trafficking crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute.
