The cause of an Aiken house fire on Hammond Road is still being investigated.
According to Aiken Department of Public Safety Lt. Jake Mahoney, the cause has yet to be determined.
"Investigators are returning this afternoon to the scene, and hopefully will come back with a cause," he said.
Mahoney added he would count the house as destroyed.
The call came in Tuesday at 6:42 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
