The funeral service of state Senator Rev. Clementa Pinckney will take place tomorrow with a tribute program to be held before.
The tribute program starts at 11 a.m. and funeral services will follow at 1:45 p.m. Services will take place at TD Arena on the College of Charleston campus. President Barack Obama will deliver the eulogy.
Burial will take place afterward at St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church in Marion.
On Wednesday, the casket of Pinckney, the pastor of Emanuel AME, was in the rotunda lobby of the South Carolina Capitol for a public viewing.
Two other public viewings will be held today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church in Ridgeland, and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Emanuel AME in Charleston.
