First day of practice
I was just wondering why the students at Midland Valley High School have been practicing football all summer long when today's the first day of practice.
Good cheesesteak
If you want a really good Philadephia cheesesteak, you have to go across the river, and if you get to Ft. Gordon, you'll find one right there at the food court at the PX.
Eat at Beamie's
I've been reading about someone in search of a Philly cheesesteak. Honestly, after much thought, the best place is Beamie's on the River right in Augusta.
Rethink charge
The SPCA needs to rethink the charge for volunteers. My husband and I belong to an antique car club. We don't go to parades that charge. If we can pay for premium gas and detailing, that is enough.
The road to ruination
A vote for Mitt Romney will really see this country go to ruination. This way everybody in the country, especially down in the south, will be making $7.25 an hour as top wages.

This is in reference to paying their fair share. Kudos. I feel the same way.

That was great to see the paper today of police raiding Crosland Park and closing down some drug dealers. Fabulous job, guys.![]()
