Women's polo tournaments on fall slate again

The 14th annual Aiken Ladies Invitational returns this September.

The Campbell Cup 0-2 Goal Challenge will be hosted by the Aiken Polo Club, and will be held Sept. 17 to 23. The tournament is sanctioned by the United States Polo Association and is a Women's Championship Tournament qualifier, and will benefit the Cumbee Center of Aiken County. Las Vinas will return to defend their title in the Campbell Cup. The team's roster features Stacie Rodriguez, Karen Reese, Tiffany Busch and Belinda Brody. Las Vinas defeated Morgan Stanley 6-5 in last year's finals. Las Vinas' Tiffany Busch was selected as the game's Most Valuable Player.

The Aiken Ladies Invitational 2-4 Goal Championship flight is scheduled for the week of Sept. 24 to 30. The USPA sanctioned tournament is a WCT qualifier, and is being hosted by New Bridge Polo and Country Club. The tournament will benefit the Cumbee Center of Aiken County.

Taylor BMW defeated Prime Steakhouse 7-3 in last year's ALI finals. Taylor BMW's Erica Gandomcar-Sachs was selected as the game's Most Valuable Player.
