Kerry Charles ‘KC’ Baxley
AIKEN, S.C. – Kerry Charles “KC” Baxley, 53, of Aiken SC passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Asheville NC. After an extended illness.
KC was born in Charleston SC on August 5, 1959. He was a son of Mary Richardson Baxley and the late Wade Hampton Baxley. He was a former employee of the Savannah River Site. He enjoyed working with and training horses. He was an avid gardener.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel, Barnwell SC. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to FOTAS-Aiken, PO Box 2207, Aiken SC 29802 or the SPCA 401 Wire Rd. Aiken SC 29802.
He is survived by his mother, Mary R. Baxley of Barnwell; brothers, Steve (Jennifer) Baxley and Terrell (Debra) Baxley of Barnwell and Tim Baxley of Panola SC; Uncle and his fiancée, Kerry Baxley and Dee Kinard of Walterboro; several nieces and nephews.
