According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 39-year-old Aiken woman was charged with disorderly conduct Wednesday after creating a disturbance on Laurens Street. The woman smelled of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication.
An 83-year-old Aiken woman reported her purse stolen from a shopping cart at a store on Pine Log Road on Tuesday.
A 39-year-old New Ellenton woman reported Tuesday that someone left a long, deep scratch on her vehicle that was parked outside her workplace, a store on Whiskey Road.
A vehicle break-in was reported Wednesday on Kershaw Street.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:
A 42-year-old Warrenville man was charged with possession of methamphetamine Wednesday after officers confronted him on S.C. 421 and asked if he had anything illegal on him. The man said he had a meth pipe that "he found," and told officers he also had a small silver container in his right front pocket. Inside the container was a white crystal-like substance believed to be meth.
A North Augusta woman reported a check stolen from her Womrath Road home on Wednesday.
A vehicle break-in was reported Wednesday on Wire Road in Aiken. An additional vehicle break-in was reported Thursday on Camden Way in Graniteville.
