Three years after leaving an administrative position with the Aiken County School District, Kevin O'Gorman could be moving back to the area.
Currently the chief academic officer in the Berkeley County School District, he is one of three finalists for the superintendent's position with Lexington 3 in Batesburg-Leesville.
O'Gorman arrived in Aiken County as the assistant principal at Schofield Middle School. He then served as the North Aiken Elementary School principal for four years before being named the District's associate superintendent for instruction.
The State newspaper reported the Lexington 3 Board of Education members are expected to select a new superintendent by March 31.
