According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:



An 18-year-old Windsor man was charged with shoplifting Wednesday after he tried to take fishing supplies from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.



A 25-year-old Aiken man was charged with shoplifting Wednesday after he tried to take dinner utensils and bathroom products from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.



A 32-year-old Aiken woman was accused of stealing money from the Whiskey Road store where she worked as a cashier.



A 31-year-old Aiken woman reported vandalism Wednesday after someone broke a window on her vehicle that was parked on Alfred Street.



A 23-year-old Aiken woman reported vandalism Wednesday after someone flattened tires on her vehicle that was parked on Locke Lane.



An 18-year-old Windsor woman reported Tuesday that someone stole money from her purse that she left in a classroom at South Aiken High School.



A Windsor woman reported Wednesday that someone stole her son's cellphone while he was at Kennedy Middle School.



A vehicle break-in was reported Wednesday on Glencarin Drive. The owner reported her purse missing, and that she had left it on the passenger seat with the doors unlocked and the windows down.



Gunshots were reported about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on Morgan Street. Officers investigated but found no evidence of shots fired.



According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:



An Aiken woman reported Wednesday that she had been scammed after she sent $5,000 to "an unknown subject" she met on Facebook.



A Langley woman reported Wednesday that her husband assaulted her during an argument over their baby crying.



A 30-year-old Aiken woman reported identity theft Wednesday after someone claimed her children on an income tax return and used her name to purchase a house.



A burglary was reported Wednesday on Monty Lane in Graniteville. The owner reported electronics missing. An additional burglary was reported Wednesday on Hillview Drive in Graniteville.



A vehicle break-in was reported Wednesday on Jon Road in Warrenville.
