A North Augusta woman declined to press charges against the man who stole money out of her hand at a Warrenville gas station, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened about 12:40 a.m. Thursday at a gas station on Augusta Road, according to a sheriff's report. The victim said she was at the window, about to buy candy when the suspect came out of nowhere, took the cash from her hand and fled. The suspect, whom the victim identified in the report, did not say anything to her.
The victim told officers she was unsure why she waited 40 minutes to call police. She declined to press charges against the suspect.
