Friends with Benefits Fund's The Major Rager concert in Augusta on Thursday starts in the afternoon and won't wind down until the end of the evening.
Scarlet Begonias will perform around 3 p.m. for a pre-show block party on 12th Street by Mellow Mushroom.
Phillip Lee Jr., Michael Baideme, Gov't Mule, Lettuce and The Revivalists, the day's main line-up, will perform at the Augusta Common, 836 Reynolds St., starting at 5 p.m.
General admission is $30, while VIP tickets, which includes access to a private section with refreshments and seating, are $100.
An after-show party featuring The Omega Moos and Funk You will start at 11 p.m. at Sky City, 1157 Broad St. The after-party costs $20 and will begin at 11 p.m.
The Major Rager will be broadcast on Sirius XM's Channel 29 Jam On station.
Part of the event's proceeds will benefit the Turn Back The Block, a faith-based nonprofit organization with a mission to revitalize Augusta's Harrisburg neighborhood.
