A 19-year-old Aiken woman and a 23-year-old Aiken man were each charged with shoplifting Tuesday after they tried to take $28 in curtains from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.
A 59-year-old Aiken man was charged with disorderly conduct after he was found slumped over on the sidewalk of York Street. The man smelled of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication.

A 55-year-old Wagener man reported identity theft Tuesday after an unknown person filed a tax return using his Social Security number.
Tools, windows, doors and lumber were reported stolen from Middleton Drive in Windsor on Tuesday.
A North Augusta woman reported Tuesday that someone damaged the mailbox in front of her Laverne Avenue home by striking it with a vehicle.
A burglary was reported Tuesday at a business on Richland Avenue. An unknown suspect shattered a window, entered the business and took $500 cash.
Two vehicle break-ins were reported Tuesday on Victoria Drive in North Augusta and Springwood Loop in Warrenville.
Tools were reported stolen from a truck on Whiskey Road in Aiken on Tuesday.
