Four Aiken County high schools will participate Friday in the annual Garcia Theatre Project at USC Aiken's Etherredge Center, 471 University Parkway.
Starting at 12:30 p.m., after a morning of rehearsals and workshops, each school will put on a play.
The schedule is as follows:
- Midland Valley High School: "Voices from the Titanic" by Pat Cook; faculty representative Shanna Alexander
- North Augusta High School: "Stopping by Ellis Island" by Thomas Hischak; faculty representative Carol Creamer
- South Aiken High School: "The Phony Physician" by Thomas Hischak; faculty representative Ramona Parsons
- Ridge Spring-Monetta High School: "I Don't Want to Talk About It" by Bradley Hayward; faculty representative Kerry Jackson
The plays are free and open to the public.
An awards ceremony is scheduled for 4:45 p.m.
