A 51-year-old Warrenville man was arrested Wednesday after he violated an order of protection and pulled a box cutter on a woman, according to a report provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
Dowell Fulmer was arrested on three other charges - armed robbery with a deadly weapon, criminal domestic violence (high and aggravated) and malicious injury to personal property, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The woman called officers Wednesday after Fulmer continued to call her cellphone all day, and that because of the order of protection, Fulmer should not have been contacting her at all, the report states.
Officers wrote down that the woman said she is "scared of him (Fulmer) and will do (any)thing to appease him because she has been a victim of criminal domestic violence from him in the past," the report states.
The woman agreed to bring Fulmer clothes, a box cutter and his glasses, and when she arrived, Fulmer took the items and opened the box cutter with the blade out, the report states.
According to the report, the woman said Fulmer pointed the box cutter toward her inside of her vehicle and attempted to grab her purse for $40.
The victim, the report states, said she did not have money and Fulmer then grabbed the car keys out of the ignition. The victim agreed to give the man $40 in return for her car keys. They exchanged the items, and Fulmer cut out the front passenger seat of her vehicle with the box cutter and left, the report states.
