A sword-wielding man is being sought after a disturbance occurred in Beech Island Saturday night.
The incident occurred about 9:30 p.m. on Wall Street, according to an Aiken County sheriff's report. The victim reported that the assailant had taken a vehicle left in her care and "brandished a firearm" at her and her roommates.
She also stated the man began to act belligerent, grabbed a sword off of a shelf and waved it around, according to reports.
He asked one of the roommates for their bookbag, which contained a .380 pistol and two laptops.
The assailant left with the sword, pistol and two laptops, according to reports.
The victim stated a roommate left with the suspect and took him to a local business where he got into a green SUV and left, deputies said.
Deputies ran the tag of the SUV and determined it was reported stolen out of North Augusta, according to reports.
