A North Augusta man was arrested Friday on twelve counts of sexual exploitation of minors, according to the S.C. Attorney General's Office.
Benjamin Michael Bruker, 39, is charged with two counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to a press release. All charges are a felony offense that are punishable by up to 10 years for each count.
Investigators said Bruker was involved in sending child pornography via file sharing.
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, made the arrest after obtaining and executing a search warrant of Bruker's residence.
Computers and other electronic equipment were seized for forensic examination, according to the press release.
The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.
