According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:
A North Augusta woman reported Sunday that someone cut the front driver's side tire on her vehicle while it was parked at her home on Silver Fox Way.
An Aiken woman reported Sunday that a 23-year-old woman stabbed a 36-year-old man with a knife on the front porch of a home on Green Road during an argument Sunday. The victim, who had been taken to a hospital and was in stable condition, didn't want to press charges and signed a case suspension form, according to the responding officer. The subject told the responding officer that she had stabbed the victim in the neck to protect her mother.
A 28-year-old Batesburg man was arrested for criminal domestic violence after an incident at a home on Apple Jack Road on Sunday. The victim, a woman, said the subject had been drinking all day and became angry after she wouldn't let him take their child to the store. According to the victim, the subject attempted to take the child forcibly from her. She said the subject also grabbed her and squeezed her, causing her to lose her grip on the child, who fell to the ground.
A 22-year-old North Augusta man was arrested for third-degree assault and battery Sunday following an incident on Pineview Avenue in Belvedere. The female victim said she was driving the subject home in his vehicle because he was intoxicated. According to the victim, the subject had been asleep, but he woke up and yelled at her and tried to yank the steering wheel. After she pulled over, the victim said the subject got out of the vehicle, went around to the driver's side door and opened it. Then, the victim said, he grabbed her shirt and ripped it. According to the victim, the subject also grabbed her by the neck, pulled her out of the vehicle and threw her to the ground. The subject said he was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim, but didn't touch her.
A Beech Island man reported Sunday that someone hit his mailbox at his home on Edisto Avenue in Beech Island. According to the responding officer, the mailbox was "bent out of shape."
A 49-year-old Gloverville man was arrested for criminal domestic violence after an incident at a home on Turnbull Street on May 22. The female victim said she pushed the subject away after he punched her in the right eye during an argument about their dog falling in a pond and almost drowning. The subject said the victim hit him in the head with a pan. According to the responding officer, both the victim and subject were under the influence of alcohol, and the victim's right eye was swollen and "black in color."
An Aiken woman reported that a Clearwater man had taken her vehicle that was at her home on Fulmer Road without her permission.
A Warrenville man reported Sunday that someone put newspaper in a pan underneath a home on Myrtle Street in Gloverville and set it on fire.
A Salley woman reported Sunday that a male subject grabbed her Android cellphone out of her hand, ran to a vehicle and drove away after he knocked on the door of her room at a motel on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater and asked her if she had any drugs. The victim said she told the subject that she didn't sell drugs.
A Graniteville woman reported Sunday that jewelry and tools were missing from her home on Motlow Drive in Graniteville. She said several people had been staying at her residence and that the items weren't there after they left.
A woman from Harlem, Georgia, reported Sunday that someone dented her vehicle and broke off all of the handles on its four doors while it was parked at a home where she used to live on Hawthorne Avenue in Graniteville. One the same day, a woman from Norcross, Georgia, reported that the woman from Harlem and her boyfriend had kicked cabinets and damaged the interior of the Hawthorne Avenue home, which had been rented to mother of the woman from Harlem.
A Warrenville man reported Saturday that the someone had removed the catalytic converter from his vehicle while it was parked at his home on Mulberry Court.
A Jackson man reported Sunday that someone had taken a golf cart and other items that were near a cabin on Whaley Pond Road in Graniteville.
An Aiken woman reported Saturday that her brother grabbed by the right arm, slung her into a wall and shoved her to the floor after they got into an argument about a pair of basketball shorts at a home on Veline Lane. The victim said the subject took the keys to a vehicle that belonged to another man and left the scene in the vehicle.
A burglary was reported at a home on Crawford Avenue in Aiken on Saturday.
A Monetta man was arrested on Edisto Road in Aiken on Sunday for unlawfully carrying a handgun. The man didn't have a concealed-weapons permit, according to the responding officer. The officer said the man was stopped because of recent calls about suspicious cars and people in the area. The subject was carrying a flashlight while walking in the road, according to the officer.
A Gloverville man reported Saturday that someone tried to break into his storage shed at his home on Oak Street.
An Aiken woman, who lives on Old Barnwell Road, reported Saturday that her female cousin had taken her vehicle without her permission. She said her cousin had just gotten out of jail and was living with her because she didn't have any other place to go.
A Warrenville man was arrested Friday for disorderly conduct on Pelzer Street after lighting a Gatorade bottle filled with gasoline and throwing it into the street. He said he did it because he was tired of his neighbors calling him "the Antichrist." He said he also was tired of their loudspeakers.
A 53-year-old Aiken man was arrested for disorderly conduct at a business on Hitchcock Parkway on Saturday. The complainant, who is the maintenance man and property manager for the business, said the subject was passed out in a bathroom. According to the responding officer, the Aiken Department of Public Safety had active warrants for the subject, who provided false information when asked to give his name and the last four digits of his Social Security number. The officer also reported that the subject's breath smelled like an alcoholic beverage and the subject was slurring his speech and unsteady on his feet.
The Sheriff's Office investigated a suspicious fire in a building on Edgefield Highway near Taylor Pond Road in North Augusta on Saturday. A witness said he saw a white female and two black males leave the building. The witness said the female returned later and said she was the girlfriend of a firefighter. She then left in a white Chevrolet truck, according to the witness.
