A text message sparked an assault on Daily Drive in Warrenville early Friday morning.
Warrants are still pending after a Graniteville woman assaulted a Warrenville man after they began arguing over a text message the man was sending to his friend, according to an Aiken County Sheriff's report.
Aiken County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call on Daily Drive at 2:50 a.m. where they met with the victim who said the woman grabbed him by the hair, dragged him around the yard and chased him with a knife when he escaped, according to the report.
The man told deputies he was able to get in the passenger side of his GMC truck when the woman charged his truck and struck the driver side window with a knife.
The woman then got into her black Cadillac DeVille and drove into the back of the GMC truck before fleeing the scene, according to reports.
Deputies attempted to contact the woman with no results, police said.
