I could not help but angrily shake my head when I read this morning’s TalkBack regarding the hookah bar. Aiken is going to the dogs; why do all these northern transplants think they can inject their dirty lifestyles into our quiet community? Aiken is for the Aikenites.
Save the chickens
I have a problem. I have land chickens and I have been told weasels are killing my chickens. I want to know if there is anything I can do or if someone could call in to let me know if there’s anything they can do to help me.
Honest about money
I feel that County and City officials are not being honest about property values. I think they are trying to artificially increase the tax base in Aiken County so they can afford their grandiose schemes and forgive private debts.
Starving is a choice
Living on a starvation level, that’s your choice. You made that choice. We were all born with the same opportunities. Conservative, liberal, it doesn’t make any difference, but living on starvation was your choice. Get over it, get a job or get an education.

I would like to ask the smoker in TalkBack who said he had a heartbeat of a teenager, how do your lungs look? Do they look all moldy and dried up like leather? That could be cancer.
