According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 32-year-old Aiken man was charged with driving under the influence Thursday after he crashed his car through a brick wall at the intersection of Whiskey Road and Easy Street. The man smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking. He was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample.
A 25-year-old Aiken man was charged with driving under the influence Thursday after an off-duty officer saw him nearly strike other vehicles and fall asleep in his vehicle at a gas station on Richland Avenue. The man was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests and provided a breath sample that yielded a 0.0 percent blood-alcohol content. He was taken to a hospital to provide a urine sample.
A 55-year-old Aiken man was charged with driving under the influence Wednesday after he was pulled over on Hayne Avenue for driving too slowly. The man appeared impaired and admitted to taking narcotics earlier. He was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests and provided a breath sample that yielded a 0.0 percent blood-alcohol content. He was also charged with having an open container of beer in the vehicle.
A 66-year-old Aiken man reported identity theft Thursday after he went to file his taxes and was told by the IRS that someone had already filed a return using his Social Security number.
A 16-year-old Aiken boy reported Thursday that he was assaulted by a boy who was walking with a group of juveniles at a park in Aiken.
An Aiken woman reported her cellphone stolen from Kennedy Middle School on Thursday.

A 56-year-old North Augusta man was charged with disorderly conduct Thursday after officers found him leaning against a building on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater. The man had difficulty standing up, smelled of alcohol and told officers he had been drinking.
A Jackson woman reported identity theft Thursday after someone opened a satellite TV account in her name.
Two burglaries were reported Thursday on Good Springs Road in Aiken and Augusta Road in Warrenville.
A vehicle was reported stolen Thursday from McKenzie Lane in Aiken.
