An Aiken man was arrested Thursday in connection with an October 2014 shooting on York Street that left one man injured, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

Ricky Lorenzo Harden, 22, of Kershaw Street, was arrested Thursday in Augusta. He was placed in the Richmond County jail and will be charged with second-degree assault and battery by mob.

Harden and a second man, Kenneth Richardson Jr., are wanted for chasing and shooting a man near the 300 block of York Street on Oct. 21, 2014, according to the arrest warrant, which states that the shooting happened during a felony narcotics transaction that "went sour."

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm. Richardson was arrested in December and charged with second-degree assault and battery by mob, attempted murder and distribution of marijuana. He remains in the Aiken County detention center.
