An Aiken man expecting to have sex when he met up with a woman was instead assaulted, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened about 9:15 p.m. Sunday on Runs Creek Drive, according to a sheriff's report. The 19-year-old victim told officers he had been texting an 18-year-old woman all day and that they agreed to meet up at that location to have sex.
The victim said that when he got to the address, the woman waved to him from the front porch and motioned for him to come inside, police said. When he entered, he was struck from behind in the back of the head.
The victim turned around and saw a 22-year-old suspect he identified in the report, he told officers. The suspect struck the victim in the right eye and caused him to fall to the ground, at which point the suspect and another man began kicking him and forced him to empty his pockets.
One suspect took the victim's keys, entered his vehicle and took $15 from the console, police said. The second suspect threw the victim's keys into the roadway.
The victim eventually was able to drive away, the report states. He wasn't able to call police because his phone fell out of his pocket at the house and "his pride got in the way."
Officers saw injuries to the victim's right eye, head, back and legs, and will pursue warrants against the suspects.
