A Windsor man was threatened with a frying pan after a verbal altercation escalated Monday.
Deputies with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance call on Cadle Crossing Road in Windsor at 2:26 p.m.
Upon arrival, the victim told officers that another man started a verbal altercation with him, according to a sheriff's report.
The victim then told officers the subject grabbed a frying pan and threatened to hit him with it, according to the report.
The victim told officers that he pulled a knife out and told the subject to drop the frying pan, which he did, the report read.
The suspect told officers he had been upset, depressed and had been thinking of harming himself. The subject also told officers he wanted to be taken to the hospital.
No charges were filed, and the subject was voluntarily transported to Aiken Regional Medical Centers, according to the report.
