Members of the Burns Dance Studio will tap their way into the next performance Monday at the 41st annual Hopelands Gardens Summer Concert Series.
The 7 p.m. free concert, held by the City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department, will last around an hour in Hopelands Gardens, 135 Dupree Place.
The performance is sponsored by the DayBreak Adult Care.
Established in 1982, the Burns Dance Studio opened under the direction of Rhonda Burns, offering both professional and comprehensive dance instruction in the Aiken area.
The studio is now under the direction of Corey Burns, and since 1982, has expanded its classes beyond just for ballet, jazz and tap. The studio now offers tumbling, hip-hop, contemporary, Zumba, karate and boys's strength and agility classes.
Dancers, under the Burns Dance Studio, consistently perform at basketball games, festivals, competitions, recitals and concerns; and on Monday, dancers will perform dances that will be showcased at the upcoming Dance Makers National Dance Competition in Myrtle Beach.

Alcohol and wine are prohibited on the grounds of Hopelands Gardens, and pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Those in attendance can bring a lawn chair or blanket, and picnic dinners are permitted.
Public parking will be available at the Green Boundary Club, 780 Whiskey Road, across from Hopelands Gardens. Handicapped parking also is available at the Hopelands Gardens parking lot, 135 Dupree Place, and at The Rye Patch, 100 Berrie Road.
In the event of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved to Gym 2 in the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, 1700 Whiskey Road.
